Following on from the huge ‘Credit Funk’ release, which saw Flip Audio topping Drum and Bass download charts all over the web, Zen is back with something completely different. Flipping the script, and following on from the massive success of their first colab ‘Your Shout’ on Grid, Zen teams up with Bristol based production duo Killabeatz. Joining them on vocals is UK diva Yvonne who brings some real funk and soul to proceedings on the sublime ‘Show Me The Love’. First up Zen takes care of the dancefloor with his rib shaking remix. Taking snippets of the original Yvonne vocal, some funked out electric guitar work, the intro keeps things super cool, giving off no indication of what’s up next! As the intro winds down, guitars are swept away, the tension rises and then the bass slams in! Not for the faint hearted! For the live mix Zen, Killabeatz and Yvonne team up for the full vocal workout. Lush guitar licks, and drums with a real live feel combine with the vocal to create neat years first summer anthem!
